About Me
“Design creates stories, and stories create memorable experiences, and great experiences have this innate ability to change the way in which we view our world.” — Christian Saylor
Hi, I’m Lexi. I am a user experience designer who’s constantly iterating. I recently completed my Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University with minors in Human - Computer Interaction, Media Design, and Physical Computing.
Though architecture will always be one of my great loves,
I realized 65% into my degree that my real passion is designing wonderful experiences for people. Since then, I’ve been constantly working to be a better designer, to put more good into the world.
My dream job is one where I can constantly be improving my
design skills while creating a social impact. I've helped nonprofits,
altered the built environment, designed learning experiences, and proposed community solutions to a plethora of issues ranging from
crime to hunger to the foster care system. I’m constantly looking for
the tools I need to be the change I want to see in the world.
In my free time, I like to explore how physical spaces are
transformed with a little bit of tech, how physical computing
can be utilized to push me out of my comfort zone, and how
a bit of code can create some delightful interactions.
