“Design creates stories, and stories create memorable experiences, and great experiences have this innate ability to change the way in which we view our world.” — Christian Saylor
Through my education in architecture, I realized my passion for
designing engaging user experiences. I love how physical
environments, digital tools, and virtual worlds all have the
ability impact someone’s perception of the world around them.
Currently I'm focused on acquiring more experience
creating digital and physical spaces that positively impact
everyday people. I'd love to be a part any team that
actively creates good in the world with users first.
In August 2019, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon
University with a Bachelors of Architecture and minors
in Human-Computer Interaction, Media Design,
and Physical Computing.
As far as personal interests in HCI, I'm really fascinated by the effects of social computing, how technology impacts people's lives for the better, and how design can influence
everyday experiences with technology. Anything that works
towards a social good (such as aiding people with disabilities
and influencing people's perceptions) gets me excited.
I strive to be constantly learning how to positively impact
the world around me.
In my free time I enjoy burrowing myself into a corner with a good book, visiting spectacular architecture, immersing myself in different cultures, attempting to learn how to actually cook, watching more than my fair share of educational Youtube videos, fueling my passion for trying new things, and constantly trying to hack my own body (it's a long story).
